Step 1

Sift the flour into a bowl and mix with salt. Dissolve the yeast in 150 ml lukewarm water and add to the flour. . Knead into a homogeneous, smooth dough, cover with the floured cloth, and allow to rest for approx. 1 hour.

Step 2

For the filling cut the paprika into small cubes and mix with the processed cheese and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Roll out the yeast dough into a rectangle and uniformly distribute the filling on it, but not to the edge. Roll in and cut into pieces of equal size. Place on a tray covered with baking paper. Dilute the egg yolk with 1 tsp water and brush the dough spirals with it.

Step 4

Bake at 200 degrees for approx. 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve with green salad.

For the salad mix the olive oil with white wine vinegar (for each tablespoon of white wine vinegar add two tablespoons of olive oil), season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. If necessary, dilute with a little cold water. Pour over the salad leaves.
